  1. So after a few months of looking for the perfect rims for my car I ended up getting 20" Versus Eurolace in the titanium finish. OMG what a nice set of rims they are! Very happy :)
  2. Cause most Aurions are owned by older people who dont drive like lunatics!! Maybe lunatics is the wrong word... they drive like grandma's/grandpa's... My TRD Aurion on the other hand gets a good thumping every now and again!
  3. Im having second thougths about getting Speedy Cheetah or CSA Vanquish rims just cause they r so popular I have seen them on literally everything. I heard that importing some rims from the USA could be a good option but Im not so sure about the hefty price of shipping them here... i guess I'll keep looking - I still want the gloss black with chromed/machined lip tho. Then should I get 20"s or stick with 19" I dont know - too many decisions to make. argh!
  4. I have started to notice a very long extended beep upon unlocking my car. Is this telling me the fob battery is low??
  5. Dont know if this helps you at all but Im considering either Speedy Cheetah's in black/chrome or CSA Vanquish in black/chrome for mine.. both "19's
  6. Yeh thats my TRD in the pic. Ive had it for just over a month now and love it. Over easter I did a trip from Perth to Geraldton (4 1/2 hrs) and it was great - almost like driving from your lounge chair with a nice lil' supercharger just waiting to pounce when needed. Ive never actually owned a ford but i like your analogy (my brothers would kill me for saying so) The fruit on your ATX sounds really good. Mine is almost as good, bluetooth, sat nav, climate control etc but I need to figure out how to connect my ipod. There is no auxillary or usb input which is really frustrating and suprising considering its a 2007 model car. I might have to contact Toyota and see if they have any options for me... fingers crossed. So what will you do to your ATX? Im already thinking of an exhaust and rims for mine :)
  7. I would choose a prado as they have a good reputation for being mechanically reliable. As long as you keep up the regular required servicing you should get many years of trouble free motoring. I'd google the model your considering and research what problems (if any) other owners have come across so you know what to look out for with your purchase. Having said that Subaru make reliable vehicles also so I guess it comes down to you!
  8. Sounds like a sweet ride got any pics?
  9. Rims, exhaust, iPod connection...

all you now need is gaffer tape and vodka and you have a party! :P

  10. So firstly let's start off by clarifying for everyone that I am a total car lover. I don't discriminate either I love anything fast, sexy, powerful and sporty. Having owned a Subaru liberty spec r-b an s13 and s15 silvia turbo, my next car choice had a lot of certain criteria to fulfil! Also my budget was reasonable but didn't stretch too far (I can't afford that Porsche 911 just yet) For months I have been glued to the net researching and narrowing down my list. I considered an ss, an xr8, xr6 turbo even the 300c hemi. None of which ticked all the boxes. My short list in the end included only one car - a Subaru liberty GT Sti. Only problem was it had to be white and not older than 06 cause I wanted flappy paddles. Four months of waiting and daily checking for one to become available was getting really frustrating so I decided to widen my search. My partner actually mentioned the trd aurion to me. I knew of them but didn't realise they were supercharged. As soon as he said the word supercharged I got excited again. So to cut a long and probably boring story short - I am now the proud owner of a 2007 TRD Aurion 3500sl Purchased for a very reasonable price I must say for the amount of car I got. I love it! It's got everything I wanted, leather, cruise control, good sound system, start button, bluetooth, sunroof and 241kw of fun! It is silver which was my second choice but its not a big deal really. I have owned it for about a month now and have had the windows tinted and am thinking about new rims, not that the standard "19s are bad - not at all but a set of csa vanquish rims would be the shiit. After that I might beef up the exhaust... My only concern is how do I connect my iPod? Does anyone know if an aftermarket kit exists? I may have to take it to an audio place or something but wouldn't mind having a go myself.
