yes checked all fuses & relays all working no loose wires just no power ?

I cant start the car there is no power no lights on dash no headlights no central locking nothing. when I put key in ignition the taco goes crazy I can hear a whining noise coming from the altinator nothing elese is working

alternator is making winding noises when key is in ignition position, jump starting has no effect. relay was working ok
