I have the exact same issue!!! It has just started. When I start my car the rear glass door unlocks. I hear a click and the display screen says "GLASS DOOR" and the warning triangle appears. Did anyone find a fix for it?

I hear you on the wear and tear thing, but my key? has it got a battery? is it susceptible to damage?

I have recently bought a 2008 Kluger (1st reg 2009) It came with only 1 key and remote. I had prices ranging from $179 to $240 just for the key and $300 to $465 for a remote. Remote: This ebay seller is selling remotes for $50. Work perfectly, comes with programming instructions, easy to follow open door waggle dance! http://www.ebay.com.au/usr/lockyouno1 Hopefully he will have some more soon. Key: There are 2 ways of getting a new key, you can either program your car to recognise a new transponder key or have your key cloned. I bartered a Mister Minute guy to duplicate my key for $80 He explained that there were 2 options, the Silca key for $200 or the Chinese key for $100. The difference, he claimed was that the Chinese key was not waterproof. As I have never dropped my keys in water in 25 years driving and knowing that my key does not have a battery in it, I asked him to do me the Chinese one for $80. He did, Works perfectly.
