As said, I highly doubt that it should cause any problems. Don't mean to sound like your parents, but don't do it again! Otherwise you may hear the noises as mentioned above and have some serious issues.

Couldn't find this elsewhere, so hope it's not already been posted.
Anyway, we have confirmation of the turbo version of the 86 now. In convertible form will suit me nicely next time around.

Does anyone know whether Australia should get a better deal on prices for Toyotas when all manufacturing is taken offshore?
If anything, I'd imagine the prices would rise.
But as said, import restrictions should be revised due to the lack of Australian built competition.

hey tattooman
I wouldnt attempt this myself but if your handy with a heat gun and vinyl then sure have a go :)
Then I should probably leave it to the professionals then. Oh well... :p

Not 100%, but I'd imagine the wiring is installed already.

I don't know anyone who has done a RAV, but I do with other makes. They make a really big difference in fuel economy, especially with how cheap the fuel is. Can't help with price though, but I'd recommend it through word of mouth.

I'm tempted to do this to my bonnet on my GT86 too. Do you think it's simple to do yourself?

I used to have a Camry before I got the GT86, and this happened to me too. Using a simple sunshade will save you a lot of hassle in the long run. Was not expecting this to be honest!

Just stumbled upon this on Facebook, thought I would share. I used to deliver Chinese food whilst at University, so find this hilarious.

It's certainly a sad day for the Australian motoring industry. Things have gone from bad to worse for sure, and it can't float too well for our future economy. Although with that said, once Ford and GM made the announcements, a part of me was expecting this coming.

Well I'm glad it wasn't something more serious. I once owned an old Citroen which had a lying fuel gauge and speedometer, so I feel your pain.

I should have researched this better. I only got a space saver :(

Hi
The fog lights don't come on but until you turn the car on and remove the hand brake.
As soon as you put any of the lights on" parkers or headlights" the fog lights will switch off.
I know some one that happens to work for toyota in melbourne that knows how to put the fog lights on
A switch. He did it for me so now I can put the fog lights when ever I want.
If you are interested on doing it just send him an email on " canchoso30@hotmail.com. "
I might drop him an email then! I'm slightly tempted by this :)

Toyota making flying cars?

It all seems a little bit Jetstones for my liking. Maybe when pigs fly....

It would still be cool to give one a go once they develop them though. What do you all think? Are hover cars a good or bad idea?
