  1. Hello, I recently purchased a set of roof rails and roof bars for my 2008 Toyota Kluger from Ebay. All is well except there is a whistling sound coming from the roof bars (I took them off and just left the rails on to verify the noise was only coming from the bars). Attached is a photo of the bars and I suspect something (such as a rubber strip) needs to be put underneath the bar in-between the adjustable clamp which holds it onto the roof rails. Any suggestions as to what I can try to stop the noise. Not sure where to buy some though if that is what I should try. I will try putting some tape underneath to test my theory. Anyone had a similar problem?
  2. Hello, I am after a driver side fog light cover for a 2008 Toyota Kluger. Some how mine is missing. Maybe someone has upgraded to fog lights and has the covers laying around. I am located in Sydney. Thank you.
  3. Hello, I am just about to buy a 2008 Toyota Kluger KX-R with 89,000Kms on the clock. Just wanted to know which servicing intervals are minor, medium? and major? I believe the 80,000Kms is major which has been done and the car now need to 90,000Kms service done. Can anyone please tell me which ones are minor/major and what has been done at the 80,000Kms service as it does not show it in the log book (as it is ripped out). I belive the fuel filter was the biggest item due to the labor cost. Thanks!
  4. I got a quotation based on the photos for $800. The panel beater can give a more accurate quote when he sees it in person, but I will shop around as I have decided to buy the car. Thanks for your feedback.
  5. Thank you. I appreciate your opinion. I had a look on google yesterday, but do you have any recommendations as to where I could possibly get it fixed in Sydney?
  6. Hello, I am looking at buying a second hand car. Everything looked good until I noticed this roof rust. I am not sure how bad it is, but I am after some feedback. -How bad would you say it was? -Is it going to cost a lot of money to fix it. Like >$1,000? -Should I steer clear of buying the car? http://s1.postimg.org/plzdcwkyn/image.jpg http://s27.postimg.org/57q6v5r4j/image.jpg http://s28.postimg.org/j0zsorad9/image.jpg Some people say car rust is like car cancer. It is a shame, because everything else on this car is great condition. Thanks for the feedback.
