  1. try removing the battery terminals and hold the both together for 30 seconds. i near flat battery will set off the light. so will some turbo timers.
  2. timing belt very easy to do but make sure you do the water pump if at the 150,000 mark as if it has not been done it will very soon start leaking.mine did and im kicking my self for only doing the belt kit.just make sure you have no distraction around when doing the belt. just a personal tip
  3. you can use i thing called a caramel wheel you can get them from worths or earls paint place or any other automotive paint place. put one one a air or electric drill and it will detroy the sticker but not harm the paint. i am a panel beater and spraypainter by trade and use them everyday of the week. we use them to remove the double sided tape from under door moulds and badges befor paint and repair.
  4. Thanks very much. great info supplied too. have you ever seen a single cab like this model with a tub tray fitted?
  5. Hi all This is my very first post after watching this forum for a few months and have decided to join. My question is, I have a 2008 kun26r 3ltr turbo single cab 4x4 ute with a very heavy mine spec tray fitted. I would like to remove this tray and fit a tub like on the extra cabs but I'm not sure if there is a single cab tub that will fit. I have been told that the chassis is pretty much the same as the single cab 4x2 so does that mean the tray off the 4x2 may fit? Any info would be greatly appreciated and look forward to being a part of this forum. Jesse.. Oh and this is my hilux! Few things done but more to come.
