  1. Forget about incar navigation systems. Just get a Garmin Nuvi 660 and you'll be able to mount it either on the windscreen or on the dash at almost eye level. Plus you'll still be able to use the touchscreen for bluetooth, MP3 and FM transmitter, etc. while driving.
  2. I think any car should be checked and change oil after 1000km - because even very high standard QA the car has not done real work and the first few litres of oil need to be replaced to flush out all tiny particles which could do no good for the engine. Car manufacturer should include this cost to their product. BH You should always follow the manufacturer's service recommendation. You'll find that the engine oil in a new vehicle is normally a special blend to aid in engine run-in.
  3. Mine was also done at 5000km (not later than 3 months after delivery). Next scheduled service is at 15000km.
  4. I've done almost 12000km and my average fuel consumption is always around 10L/100km. That's very good for a 3.5L V6.
  5. My ZR6 is aurora gold and my colleague's cyber green. To each his own.
  6. If you really want an accurate speedo reading, get a portable GPS. Garmin or TomTom will do.
  7. I don't see any point in having an Aurion running on LPG. I've done almost 6000 km and the fuel consumption is always from 9.9 - 10.4 L/100km.
  8. My colleague ordered a ZR6 with the sunroof and sat nav in mid-Jan. Dealer rang up a few days ago and said car would be ready in early May.
  9. Mine has done almost 5K in a combination of 75% city and 25% highway driving. Average from 9.9L to 10.4L.
  10. Awesome photos. That sound you hear must be the ABS initializing itself.
  11. Does anyone know when the first service is scheduled? I'm not referring to the 1000 km "walkaround" service. One dealer said it's at 5000 km and another one said it's at 7500 km.
  12. Just found this very very in-depth review of the Garmin Nuvi 660. http://www.gpsmagazine.com/2006/10/garmin_...view.php?page=1
  13. Have been quoted a 3 month delivery on Presara, and a guy who bought a couple of weeks later a 5 month delivery (Mar to Aug )! Between the hire cars and the Middle East export markets (especially with the moonroof option) the private domestic market seems to be having a rough shake. Does anyone REALLY know why the Presara/ZR6 output is taking such a long delivery time ? It seems to me that high priority is given to leased cars. Mine is a leased car ordered in mid-Jan and delivered in four weeks time. My colleague ordered his in Feb and the build is scheduled for May.
  14. I use plain unleaded, my odo is almost 4000 km and I get a consistent fuel consumption range of 9.9 to 10.5 L/100km. My driving is mostly 75% city and 25% freeway.
  15. Looks like GPSOz has the best price in Australia. Even cheaper than ebay.
