  1. Thanks, it turned out to be the throttle position sensor was unplugged
  2. I have a 1998 camry v6. Recently I reinstalled intake manifold, throttle body and changed air filter. Now the car wouldn't go over 3000rpm in the D gear even I floored the gas pedal. when I floored the gas pedal, it went to 2500 rpm fairly quickly then approaching 3000 rpm slowly and shifted before reaching 3000rpm. But it did go past 3000 rpm in 2 and L gear. does anyone have this problem before? is this a transmission problem or throttle& air intake problem?
