Loud whistling noise for engine bay

could it be a firewall not attached properly, cuz when i first had it, it is like a whishing and swishing sound, but then when i took it back to get it mounted properly, it went completely -
Yeah, last week when i took my car to get fixed with my air con, the air con guy said my dash board is sticky, he reckons i've put something on it, but i am the first owner of the car and didnt put anything on it at all, its so sticky that he couldnt do anythign with it, he had to get a dash from the wreckers to replace it. A brand new one from Toyota was quoted at about $1k while the wreckers were only about $400. (2007 aurion sportivo ZR6) So if anyone question about Armour Oil or something, i dont think its true
