with regular servicing how many Kms will these engines do ??

what's a good oil I've always taken it to a mechanic ? I know how to do it tho just never been bothered

Hey my 3.0 litre 5L hilux is using close to about half a dipstick of oil between changes is this normal or do I need to get a rebuild , dosent blow smoke , 298 thousand Kms

Ill just replace them and see how they go , it's only the rear but ill do both anyway

It's alright I found the problem , rear unis busted

Yea I replaced the bush not long ago , it's just the plastic bush that sits on the bottom of the gear stick , ahhh no evidence of a crash , it's not terrible but it's noticeable , only does it when going from 3 to second dosent do it any other time

When I change back up gears slowing down , there's shuttering , not sure if the gearbox is ****** or what , also the bottom bush of the gear stick has come off I got another one but I don't know where the other one went , will it cause any damage if its gone back inside the box ??

What would the shuttering be / hard vibration when changing up gears slowing down ??

also the bush on the bottom of the gear stick fell off that's why my gear stick is loose , this is the 3rd time I've had to replace it , I can't find it , when I took the stick out it was gone , is there anywhere it could of went to cause damage , even tho it's plastic

Hi, I have a 99 ln167r 3.0 litre , when I have the clutch pressed down for too long when in gear , say rolling up to a stop or reversing in the carport , like riding the clutch , it will get stuck in gear and I have to turn the car off to get it out of gear , until today I had to really reaf at it to get it out of gear , now my gear stick feels all sloppy , can still drive but feels like my gear sticks going to break , also I have a shudder when changing down gear slowing down ? I'm guessing my gearbox is ****** ?? Thanks in advance Jason

I know u don't know the extent of it but how many more kms could I do safely ?? I don't think it's that bad some oil spray underneath when caps of and small to moderate air ?? Blows ablsoloutly no smoke from tail pipe either

so if there's any air at all the rings are buggered??

I took it for a 50 mile drive and didnt seem to move from just under half , but the other day it moves to a bit over half not alot tho ?? It was hot that day tho ??
