  1. Yes, that would be useful. I wonder if the resetting is triggered by the opening and closing of the fuel cover/flap moreso than refilling itself. Have you tried just opening and closing the fuel door? I know that it's not ideal, but it might be a workaround allowing you to perform those A to B calculations. Let me know if that works, if I remember, I'll try that myself.

opening/closing the fuel cover won't reset the average... I think you would have to put in a substantial amount of fuel before it does a reset because I only filled-in 8 litres on sunday evening and the average still reads around the same the following day.

  2. Have an Aurion Prodigy and have rarely had it above 10.5 city or otherwise. Have had the computer indicating an average of 7.3 between Canberra and Sydney. However when I first got it I thought it was a little thirsty, so had it checked - turns out #1 spark plug was a dud and had it replaced - economy improved. Only way to tell was by plugging the car into the electronic servicing gizmo. Sure the computer 'compensates' for this problem, but unless it is picked up properly like mine was, you cannot tell, such is the greatness of the engine/transmission..

how could a spark plug effect the fuel economy?

  3. Yes, I did tell the dealer but two of their staff drove the car and could not find it (they used both belts)- I've found this by chance and just move the buckle away. I also have a rattle noise recently when the air-cond ON, could be something inside the air flow.

I only noticed the noise rattle from the AC when it is on full blast. Any solutions?
