Throwing out a question as a newbie to the forum, has anyone got an idea of whether a 96 model 2.8TD hilux box will meet up with a 90 2.4L petrol hilux engine?? I have a mate looking to buy the 96 lux for parts on his and has offered me the option to take the gearbox, but neither of us know if the box will line up...
