Hi Everyone. I hope to buy an Echo soonish so im trying to find out what i can. Basically all i know so far are the very basics.I've read they give great fuel economy -i think slightly better than other cars that size? Can anyone point me to any online info or owners stories?Or just feel free to tell me anything you think i should know. Are there any things i should be wary of?The only thing ive heard is that they require a specific coolant? Ive seen many for sale with 250KKm+.Do they tend to get that high with little going wrong? I intend to buy one with 150ish Ks but it would be good to know if it will need much spent and when Does the bigger engine make much difference? Oh!I know a good question- which engine feels stronger at low and mid revs?(because it doesnt necessarily follow that the bigger engine is better in this aspect).I've only driven one Echo so far- a rather ratty sportivo.It had more overall power than i 'needed' but i was slightly annoyed that it was so high up the rev range.I'd be happy with less but easier-to-use power.
