  1. cheers Dennis, I did give it a spray of wd40. might give it another spray tonight. the boss doesn't agree about looking better. be good to see a photo of truck without the spoiler. would be good to hear from other members
  2. Cheers Dennis. sounds a mission to get it off. I agree, truck would look better with it off. I've seen spoilers mounted on Nissan patrols so there must be something to fit 200 series. We had to get an after market camera fitted which sits to the side under the big chrome landcruser emblem. My next problem is to remove the tow ball tongue. it's jammed like hell. I've taken to it witha large drift and club hammer bloody thing still won't move. wil probably need an oxy cutter to cut the thing off.
  3. Hi Dennis & members This is my first post so here goes. Just bought our 2nd hand 200 glx wagon, Caravan is on order to pick up in late October. the Boss & I will drive from Perth to Melbourne to pick up and head back home to Perth. There's heaps of posts regarding the dust issue with 200 series. Dennis, How did you go removing the sun shade ? I'm thinking the same thing and replacing it with some sort of curved spoiler forcing the air down the back of the vehicle. The other thought was: Many years ago when I had a Holden EH wagon, it had some courved Stainless fins screwed to the rear pillars but with about 40mm space from the pillar. The fins were about 300mm long and about 150mm wide but curved so air was forced around the back of the wagon. Has anybody thought about this ?
