G'day guys and gals. Damon from SA. Got three boys, so it was time to bite the bullet and get a 4WD after playing around with V8 utes and WRX's. Tried the Navara, but it's a bit small for me, and the Hilux is a little better for seating position. Picked up a 2004 1KZ with 175,000km, and all the standard 4WD bits. Got a long range tank for $200 as well. Not bad for $15,000 I reckon. Plan on keeping it for a decade and slowly building it up, as long as my wife lets me.
