I looked closer and there is a part number 72462-42010. I quick Google search revealed it is the cover for the RHS recline handle. I'll snap it back on in the morning.

I hadn't thought of that, thinking instead it fell from the dash area. It certainly looks like it clips on to something. I will check your idea out in the morning.

I found it on the floor of my 2008 RAV4 Cruiser. No idea where it came from or why it fell off. Hoping the pics might help someone identify it.

As bizarre as this might seem, I still have not found the compliance place but the details were recorded in my logbook. Colour code is 1E0 and it is named "Dark Grey Mica". Thanks for your help.

Can someone please help me out with the location of the paint code for this model. Most people point me towards the door seal but it surely isnt there. Also, I don't see many different colours in this model - silver, white, red/burgundy, silvery blue, gold, and dark grey. I have the metalic dark grey colour (see pic) and I'm after the official name for it - charcoal, flint pearl, graphite, storm grey, or simply grey? Thanks in advance.
