  1. Took it to the mechanic today, who said the fuel pump had passed its used by date. New pump being fitted. Thanks for the advice fellas. You were spot on as always. Cheers, Macca
  2. My 2002 Landcruiser GXL Wagon Petrol, has 3 tanks. LPG was fitted aftermarket and works fine. There are two petrol tanks fitted to the vehicle. The main tank holds 90 litres and the auxiliary holds 45. Today while driving the vehicle at 80km/h towing a tandem-axel van, with main tank at 50%, all of the sudden the engine cut out. After a pause, switched to supplementary tank, which was full, and the engine restarted. After again trying to switch to main tank, which was half full, the engine failed again, causing us to have to continue to use the supplementary tank for the duration of the journey. The LPG tank hasn't been filled or used for a period of about 4 days. Car has done 350 thousand kilometres and all parts are original.
