Thanks Ross,I recently had trouble with a ford ranger 3.0ltr TD, leaking injectors ect,the mechanic suggested that I should install an auxiliary filter, He said they do one @ 10 micron, but as this is the same as standard one I thought it to be a bit of a waste. I have since bought a new HiLux, not the latest.

What micron are the standard Hilux diesel fuel filters? Is there a problem with installing a lower micron FF with regards to the fuel/ injector pump
