Landcruiser is 2008 twin turbo diesel with 233,000kms and has consistently had oil consumption problems even after a Toyota repair. a couple of weeks ago the engine, which had been serviced the week before, seized. The mechanics advised the oil pickup & strainer is clogged with sludge. Expensive problem but why if I have followed the handbook service requirements ?

I have a 2008 LC200 TTD with 233,000kms and the engine seized because the oil pick up strainer is full of oil sludge. Oil was blocked from being pumped into the top of engine. The car has been serviced according to Toyota handbook.
