Hi all, Been a couple of years since the last post, so not sure if anyone will see my post. I also have a ZRE152 & have this same problem. I first noticed my dash lights not coming on, but then intermittently coming on after a little while. I had no idea my tail lights were also not working until several ppl stopped by me to tell me. It is obviously a safety issue & I can't believe there has not been a recall on it. I have called a few auto electricians & it is not cheap to replace the switch, but also called a couple of Toyota dealerships in Adelaide who said themselves it is a common problem, but quoted me 2 vastly different prices to fix. As my car is now 9 years old and has done 67000kms, do you think it is unreasonable to push for this to be replaced at Toyota's expense? On what grounds do you think I could demand it..safety? I have 2 toddler twins in the back.. Has anyone here in SA had any success in getting it replaced for free? I'm not mechanically minded at all so worried to the sandpaper fix myself.
