Took the Prado in for it's 1000km service and asked them about the movement on the road and apparently the "boat like" (the term the mechanic used) rocking is normal. I will be trading it as soon as I can.

I have been provided with a new Prado GXL Turbo Diesel for work and had it 10 days now. This is my first Prado and most likely my last. It's slow, feels like a truck, and handles like a sponge. I get motion sickness when driving it because the suspension is so soft it rocks from side-to-side and when you come to a sharp stop the car continues to bounce up and down. It feels like I'm in one of those virtual rides - is this normal for a Prado? Ian
