Zick Wack

Hi does anyone know how to fix the vent selector on my my 2005 GXL Prado ,it just stopped working and is stick on demister, seems to go loosely from the face setting to the floor but when i pull the switch off i dont see anything broken,selector turns ok but the flow does not change from demist ?????
