Hi.
I have a Japanese 1994 Hiace LH129 2.8l Diesel part time 4wd. My transmission case is broken and I am trying to find the same or a similar transmission to swap out.
I really am looking for anything that would be compatible. It is a camper from Japan.
I have searched around for any trans, new old or rebuilt but have not been able to find one. I have searched numerous sources in Japan without any luck. (out of stock, no longer available etc) The trans is a Aisin 03-72L Toyota 35000-26870.
Does anyone know of any transmission that would "fit", it does not have to be exact at this point, I just want anything that will work. Or any other suggestions.
I was told that it could not be welded due to where the break is, (at trans cooler line)
