  1. Hey there guys! Thanks for ur replys so quick i must say I can't wait till i get my sportivo they tell me they should have one for me by the New Year so fingers crossed!! As for the Astra driver i must say i do like the look of the SRi better but as far as the performance goes the SRi is just a step behind i think even the turbo SRi would have a hard time with the sportivo they are that quick! U have to rev them tho to get them responsive where the sri seems to have more take off as soon as the lift kicks in there away!! As for the meet i will keep u guys posted!! It may be in the new year!!
  2. Hey all how we doin?? Well i have just purchased a Toyota Corolla Sportivo. It has taken me a long time to decied on my new car. I currently own a Holden Astra GSi (96) It has everything and for me to upgrade i wanted the best in the class! I test drove them all having only 30k i was limited to what i could get but i new it had to be sporty so i was looking at MazdaSP20 (not quick enough and lacking in appeal) Ford Laser SR2 (same as Mazda but better appeal and more $) Holden Astra Sri (the replacement of my GSi very nice but only 3door some options were better then the Corolla eg. cruise, steering wheel radio controls but then again the Corolla had climate and more balls) In the end i shopped around with the deal ending up being $29990 drive away!! The two places that were my sales pic were Surf Toyota on the Coast (they wanted my bussiness and worked hard for it! And my local dealer Strathpine Toyota. All in all if u live in Brisbane love cars and do the whole coast run look out cause DRU82 got a new baby!! lol :P . I loved my Astra as it was stock and was still able to blow off a lot of worked (Corolla's, Proton's, TR Astra's and even the odd c/dore and ford) Well all i can say now is they tell me that the Sportivo is quicker then the supercharged holdens and a lot the standard fords so its goin to feel great pullin away from the 6cyl. Well hope u have enjoyed the read i'm kinda rapped so thats why i have blabed on hope to see you out on the road some day and let me no if ur in to the cruisin!! cause i wouldn't mind goin again in d new car!! Drew :D
