  1. Thanks Ben but it is the actual engine losing power as the compressor kicks in and out giving the feeling of it coughing. I run 95/98 fuel and have installed a K & N air filter thinking this may improve it but still the same, although now it is at a higher rev when it "coughs". I am only assuming it is the a/c as that is what the dealership is identifying it as being, however it does seem strange that it does this at almost the same spot im my street everyday!! You wouldn't think the a/c was that routine!!! Thanks again for your input.
  2. Hi all First time user and stumbled across the club searching for some answers on the net. I have a 05 Sportivo 2.4l manual that ever since new "coughs"/"chugs", when the a/c cuts in and out. My dealer has said there is nothing wrong with my car when they put it on their "computer" but in 2-3 gear there is a noticeable difference. I would appreciate any input as to what you think may be causing it and any possible remedies. Many thanks.
