  1. You have to use specific supercharger oil.
    Harrop: 60-SC-OIL-250ML
    ACDelco: 10-4041
    Eaton: as per image

There's a few brands, I personally use ACDelco. I put in about ~160ml or fill to the opening port as per some documentation.

Not sure how often it's supposed to be replaced.

  2. If the cables are plugged in properly in the correct slots either the headunit is faulty or you could check the software to make sure the sound bias isnt set to just the rear speakers. Some headunits require adapter cables too so might want to make sure you have everything required.
I don't know too much about headunits though so hopefully somebody more experienced will be along to give you some pointers.

  3. I'm thinking of moving back to the UK in the next year or so and taking my car with me, As you know they aren't a thing over there.
What parts would you stock up on which would be a hassle to get over there? There are limited Toyotas with the 2GR engine and then you have the Lotus so I think engine-wise things might be ok for part availability but what parts can you think of that may save a future headache?

Nothing is set in stone right now but being stocked up on various parts wouldn't harm no matter where I live.

Cheers for any thoughts and recommendations.

  4. My old SX6 had the line replaced but my SL still needs doing, I have the parts on the shelf I've just been procrastinating about getting it done. It's good to hear the rubber was still in decent condition, I'm hoping the same goes for mine so theres no rush lol.
Wonder if it's any easier/harder to change on the TRD in comparison.

    nicejob!

  5. I think that's a ZR6 with badges put on it. The Sport badge is a common design, If you google "sport badge for car".
Vin check says its "Sedan 6A 3.5 Sportivo ZR6", granted I think my TRD might show as ZR6 on the checker too.

Could be an engine swapped ZR6.

On the off chance it is legit badging it would definitely be something new to me.

i rang toyota and they said it had been done on my car. I had a look for myself and can see the metal upgrade. Load off my mind. I am pretty sure the vvt oil line has been done as well. it looks metal however there is a bend hidden behind a panel you cant see

With the VVTI one if it is rubber you can see the rubber just before it goes into the hole if I remember correctly. So if theres no rubber visible I think you're in the clear.
