  1. Thanks superdave! Looks like I will be getting them wheels :D
  2. does it sit significantly deeper in the guard than the oem wheels? what is the best offset to go for in wheels of that size ~ 15x6
  3. Found these wheels that looked really mint. Its the size that I am looking for as well - 15x6.5 but the offset is 48. Will this fit on my corolla zze123? whats the opinion out there??
  4. wow such a surprise..
  5. That HD exedy one is the clutch that most people here are using so its good. I have no experience with the american clutches though.
  6. can't wait to see the pic then
  7. I got the front hubs from a 1zz celica (Celica gt) and it has ABS. So the rear hubs have ABS sensors as well in 2004 corolla sportivo?
  8. Hey guys, I am in the process of changing the corolla stud pattern to 5x100 and I have got the front hubs from the zzt231 already. The front brake hubs with ABS sensor built into them but do the rear also have ABS sensors? If there are ABS sensors for the rear hubs then what year celica zzt231 would have them? Thanks heaps. Will be updating the forum with installing celica GT-Four brakes and celica zzt231 hubs soon!
  9. So whats the verdict here guys? Will the hatchback sideskirts fit the wagon as well?
  10. UPDATE!! Found some spare time with my friend who wanted to paint his brembos too. The calipers were sandblasted to remove the coat it had on and then the primer was applied the day. Here, my friend is with our compressor gun laying the final coat on his brembos and his lug nuts. The paint was more matt when we changed the ratio to less paint, and more glossy with high paint ratio. We both achieved different results with our calipers. Here are the end results! The colour came out a lot darker than we anticipated but was acceptable. I had taken the paint off the celica words to bring it closer to the "spoon calipers" that we were trying to follow on. The next step is the install. I have found some nice wheels which are 16" but are 5x100. Need to wait for SD to confirm that the front hubs off the zzt231 could be swapped into our corolla sportivo. Once that is done then everything will be rolling into.
  11. Yea the pistons are rusted in the pits and on the contact area as well. I don't think I can save them at all. I have placed an order for 8 new pistons with rebuild kit. Ex japan :( The only issue now is getting some wheels. I really want to fit them under some 16's but then again so many threads say they only fit under 17's. sigh...
  12. Thanks. I had to spend 2 hours with grease remover and a steel brush to get it back to its original colour. Any idea how bad the pistons have to be for them to be replaced? Not keen on spending $350 on rebuilding them.
  13. hey guys, I found these calipers from a wrecker. Here's how they looked. I gave them a good clean and they turned out alright. Then I decided that I would paint them this colour with the celica words revealed in its metal. This is how it is looking now. Will be painting them either tomorrow and on friday. Rotors to be used will be the ones from skyline gtr r32 which measures 296mm diameter and 32mm thick. I have to buy the overhaul kit and new pistons for the caliper as the pistons look like they are starting to rust.
  14. Can't wait man. I might go pick up a set from the wreckers soon too.
  15. Then I am going to go ahead with this and get some celica hubs. Here I come 5x100!
