  1. Hmmm... I'd be in the same boat, but haven't heard from a dealer yet. Any postings on the Toyota Australia website?
  2. We fixed it! It turns out, a lot of these new alloy wheels don't sit flush on the axle, and need specific o-rings to fill the gap. The wheel dealer had left these off, so the wheels didn't have a central pivot point -- hence the high-speed wobble. After 6 full wheel balances this is a huge relief... and although the wheel folks were more than helpful, I still can't help but feel a bit angry that they didn't pick it up sooner.
  3. Hi all, I've recently purchased a new Toyota Hilux ute (cab/chassis) and have noticed that at 90-100kph the steering wheel, gearstick -- just about everything -- gets a really bad wobble/shudder. I've had the wheels balanced twice, and although it seems to have improved it a little, the shudder is still there. Is this a normal thing with cab/chassis? Or could there be a more serious problem (eg: an unbalanced axle)? Many thanks for your help.
