Hi there Thanks for coming back the manual shift allows to lock gears down but will not allow you say "Go to 6th" I believe 5th gear - as staying on 2000 Revs no sport mode on Prado

Dec 20 Prado Diesel 2.8 Auto - 16,000 kms When driving highway at above 90 km/h the gears appear not to move up ie sometimes revs up to 2000 rpm at 100km/h rather than what might usually be 1500 rpm. On the motorway we seem to do 1700 rpm at 110 km/h. The out come of this is of course higher fuel consumption and frustration. Have mentioned to Toyota service but only get the feeling that to hard for them. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
