Check for splits in turbo hoses, especially under or around any clamps. Also check for a broken fin on the turbo fan. Hope this helps, although they're pretty obvious suggestions.

Hi all. Thanks for having me. I have a 79 Hiace van that had been rear ended prior to my purchase. I have panel beaten the tailgate and it fits perfectly, until I try to put the hinges on, then it sits about 25mm too high. Can't see any alteration in roof line, and no visible signs of bending on the hinges themselves. Any suggestions or proven alternatives to the original hinges would be greatly appreciated.
