The plate which covers the wiring harness to the drivers door retractable rear vision mirror on my '21 Kluger GX has somehow become dislodged . I'm told only a complete new unit can be supplied costing approx. $1600 plus installation. I've looked at various sites including overseas where it appears the mirrors while a similar shape, the posts are a different design. I've also looked at Aussie wrecking sites but '21 Klugers are pretty scarce (maybe Kluger drivers are very careful) and the photos I've perused generally show damage to the driver's side of the vehicle where the impact has damaged/destroyed the mirror.
I wondered however if a similar model year RAV4 mirror has the same mounting post? Haven't been able to get a definitive answer on this question. Anyone?
