G'day everybody, I'm in Tasmania and need a 'new' cross-member (lower suspension arms pivots off it). Mine is badly cracked around one of the pivot points, probably from my trip across the western desert, where I did my sump in and repaired it with a kero tin, pop rivets and silicone! My mechanic mate reckons welding is dodgy with the laminations and the stress point. My van is 4/82 diesel, body LH30V - 390840, Model LH30RV - JRQ, long wheel base. I do happen to have a good "L" motor (2.2 diesel) which would need injector pump work. Anyhow, my home number is (03) 6231 2565. Dave.
