Hey guys. New member here and glad to be so. Just purchased a 200 series v8 deisel 2009,330,000 k,s. It goes great,heaps of power,very smooth etc but when underway I hear a ticking sound. A moderate to fast tick.Most prominent when just touching the accelerator and ticking gets faster the harder the accelerator is pushed. Not real loud but noticeable. No ticking when at idle or foot off accelerator. My local mechanic suggests possibly a noisy injector. I will get Toyota to have a look but my nearest dealer is a 4 hour round trip away. Just thought I would ask you guys first for opinions. Thanks!
