If your sound system and speakers all work ok, it looks like someone adjusted the nav voice down to zero. This volume adjustment can only be done when the nav system is talking, so without sound now you need to drive and guess when it is giving directions and adjust volume upwards.

I have a 2021 SR5. Does anyone know if you can set the head unit (stereo) display unit to blank as a default? Currently this is a 3 stage process - menu - display - screen off. I'd like screen off as the default. There is no option in the setup menu but I believe there are options that are dealer accessible only. I do a lot of night driving and this would be a safer option.
