Hi there is no specified interval for replacement of timing chains only timing belts which in Toyotas are usually replaced every 150,000km. Timing chains are in internal to the engine and lubricated by engine oil and do not need regular replacement unless a fault occurs.

Hi Guys I am new to this forum - I am about the replace the thermostat & sealing ring & coolant on my 2016 Toyota Hiace diesel KHDH201 van and was wondering when refilling the system do the air bubbles self bleed once the engine is warmed up and the thermostat opens or is special equipment required to refill the system properly - any advice would be appreciated
