Hi Lorraine, forgot to mention the TLCC members who changed the engine did it with a complete engine/gearbox as a unit.

Hi all, New to the forum and hoping I can gleen some information. I have a 2014 VDJ200 Sahara which has heavy steering. No visible leaks from the steering rack. Is it a steering rack issue or possibly another problem? Look forward to a mountain? of information Thanks David

Beware, if you're going to change motors, you may have to change the gearbox as well. Your current gearbox may not fit into the rear of a diesel. Some members in the TLCC have done it, very successfully. Unfortunately, the person who did it is not available anymore. Best of luck
