rt40man

hi . so, my question is simple, how many RT40's are really out there on the road these days? i for one have not seen any in Sydney. do they show up at meets, or car shows? help an old fella out, point me in the right direction here, would love to see one or better still meet someone who has one.. thanks RT40 man

Hey Guys well, i finally got to put my hands on her. spent a few moments to feel her out, see where she was at. a little touch'n and Feel'n and within 45 mins, got her to pur. with the help of a good friend. at least i know the motor runs. put her on a trailer and she is now home ready for her full make over. upon some intial inspections, her truck is full of junk, rusted thru, even her belly tank is shot to pieces. full make over needed. the rest of her chassis is in great condition, solid as, wash board abs. still needs a few shots of botox on the exterior to plump her her out, remove the indentations and several cancer spots, but totally fixable. when i get some more happy snaps ill be glad to show her off as she and I head down a road of full contentment and joy in building a life together...

anyways, this is gonna be my rebuild, a cool rebuild, thinking....bagged, engine trans swap, discs fnt n rr, maybe a sleeper look....

Peeps. Hi Hobes is the name, ol skool biker, ol skool mechanic, ol skool eveything. Im here cos, i was just given on my 60th birthday an old 64ish shovel RT40. been sitten under some trees for ,i dont know how long. BUT, its now mine. so, im here to ask help, im here to seek advice and tips. but first. i have an rt40, with bucket seats... i cant find any info on when this came out, ive seen bench jobs, but not buckets. do i have a good one, is this a rarer model than bench seats? help....
