Hi folks.
I serviced my corolla today changing the spark plugs, battery, fuel filter (pump remains original) and the oil change etc. Put it all together and it cranks, but doesn't turn over.
Checking at the plug of the fuel pump, I get no voltage when the ignition key is set to "ON". Continuity on the earth is good.
I pull the pump/filter out of the tank again and fuel runs back down the tube and out, so I thought it was pumping, but perhaps it is just the line being shaken after trying to crank the engine.
I put the pump, in a bucket (dry) and pulsed it with 12v off a battery and it squirted the residual fuel inside itself out.
Put it all back together and it won't turn over.
Which has me wanting to check the relay. I bought the Haynes manual and they do not have a key for the relays there. Looking at the fuse box under the glovebox, it is completely different to what is on show on the Internet.
So does anyone know where the relay is that controls the fuel and which actual unit it is?
Cheers.
