I send this email to you regarding the upcoming re-registration of my HiAce van (2004). I have an LPG tank in place behind the drivers seat (alongside the wall) and I have been told that the tank needs to be having some protective cover placed around and over it in case of an accident which may lead to items within the van being moved around with some level of force which may result in damage to the tank if a solid object/s come into contact with it with it. A boxlike structure has been mentioned/suggested but I must say I am not much of a handyman with things of this nature. Therefore, I am really looking for the quickest and simplest solution to this problem as the rego is due in less than two weeks. Is there some type of business that would sell something along that line that simply has to be fitted in place? Any thoughts on this matter would be appreciated as time is running out.
