  1. Hi clubbers, this may be a common problem, but I can’t find it answered. My Camry 2002, Sportivo V6 Security alarm horn goes off intermittently, including middle of the night, annoying me and neighbours, and making the car almost unusable. It’s particularly trigger happy when parked on roads near tram lines or busy roads, but my house is a quiet court, nowhere near the tram line and it’s triggering in the middle of the night. I don’t believe car thieves are trying to break in and triggering it Toyota Camberwell say they don’t know how to fix it, which shocks me. And I can’t readily locate where the security module and horn/noisemaker is inside the engine bay (it’s definitely separate to the usual car horn, as disabling car horn, won’t stop the problem, and I understand the security system was expressly designed to be unobtrusive, so thieves can’t easily find or kill it) it’s a MCV36R-DEPVKQ; built SEP02; Engine 1MZ-FE I’m wondering if: A. there is a specific fuse someone can point me to which serves only the security system and which I can pull out (YouTube videos from overseas on this topic are unhelpful with Australian models) B. Someone has an image of what the Security alarm/ horn module looks like, and where it sits in the engine bay? (Again, my YouTube overseas hunts have not identified anything relevant to my model) C. There’s a specific wire, which I might cut or disable to stop the security noisemaker? D., anyone can point me to an electrical wiring circuit diagram, which I can take with my Camry to an auto electrician to implement OPTION C? Any help would be appreciated.
