Depending on where you are there are clubs(quite a few) in each of the major cities. Do a google search and type in VW clubs and check it out. There is also a VW forum type club called Aussie Vee Dubbers. It should come up in the google search also. Need any other info PM me as I'm a VW enthuisiast.

I must admit the car is quick and perfect mod, but it is still a second car. Forgive my presentation before, I just expressed my thought, I really dont think it worth 40k.

Not a hope any one is going to buy that car at that price. He is better to strip the mods off and sell individually. The car is probably worth only $23-24K. Even with all the mods I had on my car when it came to trade it in they valued it at 22K but I had 12K of mods. ... They told me take them off...as it was worth more to them to sell (then sold privately) . You can not be expected to buy a car and pay full price of the mods on top of the value. I would say at around $28-29K he has a better chance.

hey guys,
yeah...the white stivo at uwa with the grill is in my garage :D only performance mod i've got is the cai under the bonnet, and other minor mods include the mentioned grill, eyelids, light bulbs and pedals.
it 'was' the first stivo around uwa, but now there's a couple silvers, a red, a black or two around. B)
i'm all up for a stivo get together sometime.
Perth Rolla Cruising, how is that sound?
i am thinking about this these couple days, any body interested??
Let's sign up here, and see how many ppl will join for that, then let's decide a day for it, ok???

mayba it is because i am not a European nor Japanese, i dont think it is so important that the stivo is following Euro or Jap trend, as long as it is a good looking and good driving car, that is more than enough for me.

hey my buddies, just back from my dealer, here is my news...
i've bought a stivo tonight!! it is a cascade blue baby :P
hope to get it some days later!!!

1) disconnet the battery for 30mins+
2) reconnect the battery and let the car idle for 5-10mins (make sure all the acessories are OFF)
3) turn the car off and disconnect the battery for ~30sec
4) reconnect the battery, start the car and drive the rings off it.

BTW, apart from installing CAI, what other situations i should reset ECU??

I just installed the Simota CAI the other week. Just follow the same steps as the TRD one. It's exactly the same. Just remeber to reset the ECU. I found that resetting the ECU should be done when the engine is cold. So when u let the car idle it starts from cold to warm and therefore will adjust accordingly. I had a few problems with hestitation when accelerating but when I resetted the ECU when engine was cold it was all good.

Just checked you garage again, i think 'Technik Car Audio' is better for your baby's feature. Dont mind if i am wrong.

The sportivo 2003-2004 windows are all "power-windows".
Note: only the driver side is fully automatic e.g. single-press to wind the window down/up. The rest requires that you hold down wind down/up button.
The Levin i am talking is 2005, all windows are single-press to wind the window down/up. Hope the STIVO 2005 has the same feature!!!!!!
BTW, i am going to check out the new stivo in perth tomorrow, hope to have some pics for you guys

BTW, i've saw the facelifted rolla levin, its windows are all automatic electric. Can any one tell me that is it the same in Stivo??

Yup im from Perth.
I go to Technik Car Audio in Willeton for TRD stuff. Whilst they don't stock it in they will order the gear from America or Sydney depending on what you want.
So good to have someone in perth, actually i am not a "real" toyota owner now, coz i am buying the facelifted sportivo, but my dealer told me they dont have any in Perth, and i have to book one and wait till this week. maybe let's get together when i get my car, ok?
