B) hi all I have just converted my sons 91 hilux from diesel to a 22r 89 model petrol engine and i am having some troubles. The problem iam having is the engine wont rev but idles perfect and when you try to rev the it it backfires through the carby. I have checked and double checked the timing to no avail. There are 2 wires that go from the coil to the dist and 2 wires that connect to the wiring of the car. the 2 that go to the car i have joined together and just picked up a 12 volt feed through the ignition switch maybe this is not right? any ideas (Moved to correct section)
