  1. Hi! I am trying to locate the inner te rod ends for the 1985 2.4 L RA 65 Celica. According to Repco they are not listed and genuine Toyota have them at a massive cost, any idea's where I can buy at a decent price?
  2. I recently bought a 1985 Celica Hatch with the 2.4l injected motor and am tidying it up. It's in extreamly good condition and was unregistered when I picked it up last March on ebay for the smal price of $550. All it required for the blue slip and rego was 4 new tyres, a new battery and new brake pads front and rear. I bought it over the net with only having seen pics of it over the internet so I was very lucky. I organised for a tilt tray to pick it up and transport it to my motor mechanic who excitedly rang me when it arrived because he put the attery in it and not only did it start but idled and drove beautifully. I have been tidying it up ever since. I have replaced the stereo system with a stacker, head unit and 4 speakers, given it a good polish and tune up and so far have enjoyed driving with the electric sunroof open! It spent 3 months in Coffs Harbour when my step-mother borrowed it and then I bought a heap of spares off a guy in Sydney. The front drivers side guard and bonnet are a little damaged (not badly) but I have 2 guards and a bonnet that require a respray from my parts box. The front bumper bar is something interesting, Alot of the front bars I have seen are straight across the top section between the headlights but mine has a curved section. The spare I have is different too! My father thinks mine might be off an early Honda Prelude, I have seen a couple with a similar bumper but most have the straight version. Can anyone tell me if there was a special model with this curved bumper? I have alot of parts that I wil never need so if you have a similar model and need something drop me a line cause I might be able to help out!
