Ok... so I've traveled almost 40,000km's. And I am located in sydney (Strathfield). I think I will be needing a tow truck to take my car away... as I cannot get past 1500 revs ... :S

hey guys... My clutch is officially gone! The odd thing is, it jsut went straigh away out of no where? Is that normal? Because just about 3 weeks ago my brother car (s2k) needed clutch replacement as well, but it gradually got worse and worse until it hit a stage where he couldnt drive it. Either way, it has to be replaced. Was jsut wondering if anyone knows somewhere relatively cheap that puts in a decent brand clutch and that is RELIABLE? And how much would I be looking at? Thanks!

I went up against a 03 rex... no major mods just exhaust/blow off.... got pretty owned... they kick really hard at the start and by the time lift kicks in at first its pretty much too late.... btw my cars all stock apart from a panel air filter.... soon to have a CAI in the next 2 weeks

Spotted dropped silver rolla with sportivo exhaust and rear/side weather shields.... at strathfield... also sounded like it had a sub...

Has to be one of the nicest silver stivo's... I'm pretty sure its Gazoom's... Reg# AZF 83S, going down the back street parallel to Parra RD. Very nice clean looking car...

You can get C1 eye lids from their website... they fit the facelift stivo's... My ones are from freddy@topstage.com... Just shoot him an email and ask him about the facelift sportivo eye lids. He's located in melbourne but will be happy to post. The eyelids dont come perfect... but after a bit of sanding they should be beautiful!

Hey guys... It's time to upgrade my sound system... i was just wondering with the front and rear door speakers what will fit? I am aware that the speakers in the corolla are mounted to the door... will 5.5" fit as the stock ones are 6" aren't they? Any help would be great Thanks...

Also, on the way home from uni today... spotted a parked facelift rolla... not sure if it was a sportivo... i tihnk it was sussex st? Black... also JDM style with front kit... yellow personal no. plates but couldnt make it out because of the rain.

I think it was APZ.94Z at strathfield in a small street near Com bank... dont think it was a stivo but either way was looking good! Nice rims and nice ride height!

Hi guys... was after some help with putting mesh behind my grill and the area under the grill on the face lift tivo. I took a quick look and saw the existing plastic was pretty much clip on... removing it shouldnt be a problem... but i have no idea how to stick the mesh on? and where would i get this mesh? I'm after black... have the guys who have done it painted silver mesh black... or is there someone that actualyl supplies proper mesh with a frame that actually clips on?

I'm getting my stock sportivo ones done... From my knowledge I dont think there are any blemishes or tar spots.. but isnt it necessary to sand blast them always to remove the existing glaze on them? $30 a wheel.. that is cheap! do you mind giving me a contact at the place? Much appreciated!

Hey guys, I'm looking to powder coat my wheels this week or next week. I've been calling around for a few quotes and the best i can get is $88 + $15 (to remove the tyre and put it back on). So approx. $103 per a wheel. Has anyone else here done it in Sydney? If so is $103 per wheel reasonable? All help would be much appreciated!

I was also having this dilemma a month ago when i was searching for my car... But in my mind the only thing that made me consider the 03 over the 05 was the price... In saying that, I ended up getting the 05 and I'm happy I made that decision! With the 03 it is almost a MUST to get a grill and eye lids... with the 05 they've made the lights a little sharper to make it look a bit more aggressive and even if you dont do anything to the front it will still look good!

I've been on the look out for eye lids + rear eye lids for quite a while now but cant seem to find ones that I like... i've searched ebay but no success. Can someone please help me on where I can find these eye lids... or something similar to them... or it would be great if you could direct me to a site that has a range of eye lids I may be able to choose from... Also, how much would I be looking at in getting them painted for the stock black? Also regarding the rear skirt... * Is it possible to fit one if I have a tow bar? * I've heard the exhaust part needs to be cut (even for the stock sportivo exhaust) is this true? * How much do you think I would be looking at in getting it painted... Any help would be appreciated Thanks!!!

Hey mate... I did myne about 1 week after getting my car... depending on if you want to do all 4 or just the front 2... its going to take u a solid 40mins+ per a wheel... thats giving it around 4-5 coats... I've heard some people remove the caliper and paint it, but I just tried covering all areas surrounding it... I'm sure you would get a perfect job by removing the calipers! But to be honest I think my ones came out just as well... currently at uni... will post some pics for you when i get home! Also, if you havent already had a go... remember to cover the body of your car!
