what do you mean by you can't get past 1500 revs? Because if the clutch is completely gone, your car should be revs freely and will not stop you rev past 1500.

For the fog lights, you can try eBay, I got my fog lights from eBay for $110 delivered, its brand new and came with all the wiring and relay, but still need to find the plastic surrounding.
-
is it necessary to have the relay?

AUR15, what size are the rims? 18"?

nice pic, thanks mate.

if you wanna fitted a turbo to your car then you dont need a headers...anyway, i don't think there is a turbo kit for the new corolla yet... but there are so much more things that you needed if you want a turbo corolla.
I saw a turbo Corolla (previous model) in this forum before but can't remember which section. Just search around this forum and you should find it.

i'm interested if they had this for 08 Corolla.

if your car had air flow meter then dry type air filter is better than oil type (like K&N), because you will have to clean the air flow meter more often if you use oil type.

this is the HID kit I'm going to get HID
-
everytime you change the rims to a different size to your car, a wheel alignment is needed.
-
thanks mate, I'm getting 6000K from ebay soon, and 5000K is hard to find... where are you getting your HID kit from?
-
hi Saj
do you know whats the parts# for the K&N panel filters?
-
I was wondering has anyone fitted a HID to your 08 Corolla Ascent? If you had HID fitted to your 08 Corolla Ascent, can you share your experience, because I'm thinking about getting a HID kit for my 08 Corolla Ascent but I just don’t wanna blinding people/other drivers on the road. Since we've got the projector type head light so I think it may be okay to use HID without blinding people.

kinezz: H11 for thr fog lights
-
The reason I ask is because I just bought a set of fog lights from ebay (with switch, wiring...but no plastic surrounding/black frame fit to the bumper bar), the fog lights are for 07/08 Corolla seden, if the fog lamps are same as the one for hatch then I only need to buy the plastic surrounding for my hatch Corolla.
-
try ebay.

hi guys
I was wondering are there any different between the front fog lights off 2008 corolla seden and 2008 corolla hatch?
I know the plastic frames (the black plastic hold the fog light and fitted to the front bumper) are different, what I wanted to know is, are the actual fog lights exactly the same?
thanks

Hi guys
Recently I found that there are some white/blue powder around the battery terminals (-ve), does it mean that I need a better battery? I clean the terminal before and the powder building up about a day after I cleaned it and I got told that some petroleum jelly can prevent this happen.
Anyway the following is my system in the car and some test of the battery, please give me some idea if I need to change anything of the system.
-4G power cable (60 amp fuse) to distro. block, will change the fuse from 60 amp to 100 amp soon.
-8G cable (20 amp fuse) to Alpine amp 2chx50w RMS and has 1x20 amp fuse
-8G cable (40amp fuse) to Alpine Mono amp 1chx200w RMS and has 2x20 amp fuses
Engine off:
Battery - 12.89v
1st Alpine amp - 12.79v
2nd Alpine amp - 12.67v
Engine on:
Battery - 13.81v
1st Alpine amp - 13.80v (+ve, -ve); 12.58v (Remote, -ve)
2nd Alpine amp - 13.72v (+ve, -ve); 12.53v (Remote, -ve)
thanks guys.

Keep the stock rims, you may need them one day.

I like the circle eyes, are they both legal?

To give you a bit of an idea here is what I done to my 08 Corolla so far and planning to do in the future.
- Better sound system ( to me sound system always come first :) ), including TV, DVD player, Alpine splits at the front and Kenwood at the rear, two amps and 12" sub.
Planning to do soon:
- tinted windows
- bigger rims
- body kit

I use Shall V Power for my 08 Corolla, and thinking about using the 5% ethanol or 10% ethanol, does anyone know are the ethanol any good? or should I stick with the V Power?

I understand that you may not be able to drive over 30km because of the clutch had no grip, but you can revs the engine with any gear without the engine stall...eg. you may rev the engine up to 5000rpm in first gear but the car is not going...
because he said he can't revs past 1500rpm so I think may be something else was wrong with his car
