Hi all - I'd like to update the head unit in my 2004 Avensis Verso Ultima. The genuine one I currently has doesn't support MP3 or have an auxillary jack. There's plenty of Toyota ones out there for sale, but how do I know which will fit my car?

Any tips or advice appreciated.

I've got a 2004 Avensis Verso Ultima 7 seater (which I love) and I need a LEFT hand bracket for a genuine Toyota towbar. I'm told the Avensis Verso car is based on the Camry chassis, and I'm wondering if anyone can confirm if this is true and possible help me get a hold of a suitable bracket.

Toyota will only sell me the entire ($800+) kit, whereas I only need a LEFT bracket. I might be able to post a photo if anyone thinks that may help.

Don't you ever let any dealer to wash your car.

About one and half month ago i've got my 1000km service done, and of course they didn't fix all the fault that I found, but anyway I will go back to them for those problems.

But when I wash my car yesterday, guess what did I find out, 3 large swril marks all over my bonnet, and many more on the roof. I never wash my car myself and this is the first time expect the once done by toyota @ 1000km service.

My sportivo is white so those swrils are hard to identify under sun, but more obvious under fluorescent tube.

Nunawading Toyota have just done it again.

I bought a Silver Avensis Verso on the weekend which is in really good condition, but needs a few scratches and chips touched up here and there. Does anyone have any recommendations on what type of touch up paint I should buy and from where? Ideally I'd like to buy some online. The colour is Silver Ash code 1D4 if that helps.

Nothing really goes wrong with them...

Only thing would be the Serpentine Belt Tensioner but that would be in around another 40,000kms...

Give a good look around the timing chain case area for oil leaks at the top (T-Junction) as they can sometimes leak pretty easily...

Other than that, thats pretty much it...

Hi - I am looking at buying a 2004 Avensis Verso Ultima. It's done around 40,000ks and it seems well priced. I'm taking it for a test drive tonight. Has anyone got any advice for me on what I should look for, or even tips or traps on the Avensis Verso Ultima in general?
