Hey I've been looking at buying a rav4 and was after a 04/05 model in black and has just realised that there is the wagon and the hardtop.

Can I just get some opinions as to which one is a nicer car because I like the hardtop but it looks very weird..

Well, I don't know what people mean by idling problem but I'm assuming that when I reset my cpu it will fix the problem I'm having now.. mmm I just thought I'd put the question in the air to see whether people thing its neccessary..

Does any one have any opinions regarding the comment below..? I have been looking around and noone seems to know :S

They ran a diagnostic check on the car and said everything is fine except for the vac hose. instead of it being blocked off like some of the other guys have shown in there posts i was told it had to run into the vsv unit and then back out onto the cai plug which is located in the middle of the piping. i did it and then ran the car......

NO STUPID IDLING!!! so if you have got this problem have a go at going that and see if it works. I dont know if it has been covered but i search and couldnt find anything on the forum. so if it works thank me by sending lots and lots of money my way.

Are we supposed to reset the ECU?

I found the same thing.. any way around it??

I fitted mine with whitestivo and for some reason.. im not impressed!

Maybe I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be but it could be because I already had a pod attached with some piping giving it air so the difference wasn't as big!! Plus I have exhaust modification so it was already sounding pretty mean!

overall.. i dont regret it but for some reason, i thought I would have been more impressed lol

any opinions?

Which clamp am I getting?

Thought it was just:

2 x Drift Urethane Pod

2 x 6mm Vaccum Cap

2 x 6.5mm Vaccum Cap (just incase 6mm is not good enough because some say its a 6.5mm - unless its the same *****)2 x Silicone intake hose (to stop rubbing of the cai on the car)

I'll buy everything tomorrow hopefully..

First of all: I thought it closed 1st June because that's what it said a couple of days ago :S

Second: The reason im not getting it anymore is cause as I said, im burrowing the $ off a friend (unless i sell that strut bar which wont happen overnight) and that loan deal has fallen through which leaves me with nothing..

Whitestivo: I'll buy it if you pay for mine and I pay you for it when it arrives - if you did that, I DEFINILTLY wont change my mind because I am a man of my word and by the time they arrive, ill definitly have the money. But obviously it's up to you if you are willing to do that.

Worst case: I dont get get, I'll just have to stick what I have now

Have you tried yet? The rules are mainly there to prevent people abusing our forum to sell their wares and contribute nothing back. You have been to a few meets up in Brisbane so at least 2 mods know your not from HK trying to sell us Air Jordans and no name brand flat screen tv's.

nah i know there is a difference its an extra 2-3kw atw but their $525 with pipe and when i sell the car in the future I know that seeing a TRD one will be more impressive lol so im in :D
