its time to drive like a grandpa :P I find my aurion to be very thirsty if I accelerate fast from standstill. If i drive like a maniac around city the economy is around 14-15L/100. If i drive like a granny then i tend to get around 10-11L/100. Not like you can drive fast in city traffic, only fast acceleration (which means hard breaking if something comes out unexpected).

mmm lol i stopped seeding that torrent long ago. I uploaded it in march sometime (after buying 2008 model presara) and stopped seeding after about 1 month. I am overseas right now and dont have access to my home desktop (i think the gf turned the comp off to save energy.... i normally dont turn my desktop off so i can remote desktop). Problem is now i cant seed for a while since Im moving houses when I get back to Aus and net will take a while to set up. I know at least 4 or 5 ppl on this forum I have uploaded to so if you guys can seed for a week or so it will help out others. Also Sanz can you remove the direct link from your post, I am pretty sure it violates the rules of this forum.... just search the file using mininova is good enough.

To transfer the files make sure the car Nav system is set to receive the phonebook. On my nokia phone you goto contacts and then press options. Find Mark/Unmark and select Mark all. Press options again and find "Send business card" Option then comes up, select Via Bluetooth The phone will then Convert the contacts for bluetooth. Select the toyota as the device and Voila you should have the contacts transferred onto the car. Btw my phone is a Nokia N81.

there are no factory tint, just dealer installed tint.

Ive done 700km so far since getting my presara on 1st March and filled up after driving every 300km since I refuel every Tuesday (cheapest day) no matter what. 1st refuel = 11.7 L/100km (91 RON) 2nd refuel = 12.1 L/100km (2nd was with E10) after trialling E10 I noticed a drop in performance with the car sluggish at 0-60km. I am never going to use E10 again, its such a crap fuel.

My presara has version 14 of the map and my mum's car (Lexus) has version 13 of the map, since they both use the same map i thought i would try burning the dvd and see if it works. I went out and bought DVD+R Dual layer disc 5 for 17 bucks (its expensive but i cbf shopping around) at Big W and then used Nero to copy the DVDs. The original copy is 5.85 Gb and copying the disc took about 35 minutes (burns at only 2x on my burner). Then i placed the burnt copy in the lexus and once it read the DVD it began updating the system and it took about 15 seconds and voila checking the map version again and its version 14 and it works! Compressed it only is 1.3 gb. PM me for details

I ordered a Presara on 17th Feb 08 and went to pay the remaining on (24/3) Sunday and the manager said it will be ready for pick up in a week. The car was ready on Monday 3/3/08. So it took me just over 2 weeks. The presara was 50k including on road + tow bar + window tints and floor mats. We traded in 2003 Honda MDX, every other dealer only offered 28-30k trade in, and we visited 4 dealers. At the last dealer I just turned up the pressure and just said im willing to pay 18k after trade in and you have to throw in tow bar, tints and mats (this was at 6pm on a Sunday lol). After the sales woman talked for a while with the manager the dealer finally agreed and we signed on the dotted line. The 4 dealers visited in order were: Lander toyota blacktown - 54000 with 29000 trade in, would not negotiate price unless i agreed to buy the car today (stupid stupid idea, i just left) Truscotts toyota along parramatta road - 52000 with 30k trade in, said prices were negotiable more if we were willing to buy on the day (again left) Ryde toyota - 50000 with 30k trade in, after negotiation, salesman understood i wasnt going to buy on the day and gave me the best possible price for them, gave me quote valid for 2 weeks. I almost signed the deal then thought i might as well visit 1 more dealer as it was only 3 pm and i had time. Pennant hills toyota - initially same price as ryde toyota, but i badgered them as to why I would purchase from pennant hills instead of from ryde since i was closer to ryde as well, they gave me 19k changeover but i wasnt satisfied, called up my parents and asked them to haggle for me (my mum is a haggling bitch) and she managed to get the price down and seal the deal.
