  1. Hi All, I note that the Presara includeds a 3 yr subscription for Toyota Link. Wondered how usefull Toyota Link has been. Some of you would have had this feature for about 18 months. Has it been usefull and would you consider extending this subscrition when it expires. Also, any idea what sort of $s will be involved to renew subscription. Regards Quark
  2. Hi All, Does anyone have any information on the level of window tint (if any) on the Presara, as delivered from the factory? Also is there any info available on the UV & IR blocking ability of the standard windows used in the Aurion range? Regards Quark
  3. Thanks jondays & easyride, Appreciate the images, looks good, I was not keen on the black interior for our climate. I ordered the Sakana Silver but have not yet seen an Aurion of that colour. I thought Titan SIlver looked good but as it is no longer available I went with Sakana Silver. My favourate colour in the whole Aurion range is Aurora Gold, I do not understand why it is not available on the Presara. I would have thought the top of the range model would be available in any Aurion colour. I sent an email to Toyota on this matter and They did reply but really gave no explanation at all. How satisfied are you (easyride) with Sakana Silver? Regards Quark
  4. Hi Derek It is not a good idea to fit a screen in front of your radiator and aircon condensor. It may be a pain cleaning the bugs out of the coil but a screen will reduce the air flow considerably. To get a feel for what I am on about, have someone else drive your car at 50 kPH while you sit in the passenger seat with the window down holding a sample piece of mesh out the window. The drag it causes and resultant reduction in air flow through it will be substantial. The reduced air flow is significant and could lead to your motor running hotter. The mesh also reduces air flow to your aircon condensor which means the discharge pressure from your aircon compressor will be higher than normal which in turn means the compressor will need more horse power to turn it. The mesh will definetly keep the bugs off your radiator but will likely lead to higher engine temp higher pressure in your aircon system and worse fuel economy. I live in the far west of NSW and over the years have seen many tourists come through experienceing over heating problems due to such screens. Regards Quark
  5. Greetings All, This is my my first post on this forum. I live in the remote far west of NSW so it's a long drive to get anywhere. I have owned Toyotas for the last 23 yrs. A 60 series GXL Cruiser, 80 series GXL TD Cruiser and a 2002 Avalon Sorrento. I have never had a problem with any of them. Currently my 80 series has 260.000 klm on it, still going strong however I am trading the Avalon in on a Presara, delivery date is in May 08. My query relatates to the Sandstone Reflex Leather which I have ordered. I have been right through the Toyota website and they show a 360 degree interior view of a Black interior. The also show small colour patches of the available interior colour schemes, but that doesnt really give much of an idea of what Sandstone really loks like. I was wondering if anyone with the Sandtone interior would mind posting an image of it. Thanks in advance Quark
