just a small update on some cosmetic changes 😁

well guys i headed out to roll racing again for the Apr round which turned out to be the roll racing state of origin with NSW vs QLD going on.

I have posted all my clips up to youtube on my page (https://www.youtube.com/user/xoom69/) .... 11 runs in total ...... the highlight of the night for me was running a Ferrari 488 ..... Enjoy guys.

Fri nights races resulted in 11win & 3 loses. Loses were rx7 2nd run...  Buggered the start. EVO 9 th33vo again buggered the start. And the sr22ve 180, this was my first run & even with the tweaks there was even less traction than last month. I think the cooler conditions....  So I had to tweak my setup post this run....  I wanted to go him again but never got the chance to. Here's the videos

so i havent hit the strip but i have been roll racing .... and i have videos .... have gone in Jan & Feb and am running about 50% win rate ..... some folks have some real monsters & there i am in my little granny stroller some of the vids below and others on my youtube channel.

Well the car has been off the road for a year now ...... and as it goes with project cars ..... are they ever truely finished.

I picked up a MR-S a few months ago and thinking I will head down the turbo 2zz path and drop in pistons.

It was great to catch up last meet Bill and have a good look at this beast, bloody impressive. All quality too. That sump is a work of art......

i remember in the past they used to set the code to the last 4 digits of the VIN ..... so u could give that a try .... another alternative is to go see a toyota dealership

Nice build ..... And yes an engineers is still required ...... More so now than in the past ..... The rules are a lot tighter on newer cars and as stated most of the newer legislation affecting newer cars means they are road legal without an engineers = u ain't covered by insurance as stated.

Did the engineers reports ever save you from some over-zealous transport officers or Police?

Oh god yes ..... For me personally there was one main occasion where had i not had the engineers i would have been totally screwed ..... The cop was intent on wanting me ending up walking home or something ..... But in the end i left without copping anything other than 30 min lecture about done up cars & he was just assuming i was another hoon who didn't have a clue about this stuff ..... Boy was he surprised when i pulled the engineers certificate out ...... If only i had a camera recording his reaction.
